METAL LOOK CARDS
ARTWORK GUIDELINES
Supplying artwork to Saltprint

All metal look cards come with free design, however you may want to send us an existing logo, or even your own artwork.

Whether you design your own artwork or Saltprint does, we may need to alter artwork to be print ready.

Vector Artwork

All artwork needs to be in a vector format, such as AI, EPS or PDF. Bitmap graphics such as photos will not print well.

Design Detail

Designs can not be too detailed or intricate. Clear and bold design elements will always work better. Small / detailed text will not look very good either. We recommend that nothing is less than 0.5mm in size of text or shapes, or the weight of lines.

Colours

Artwork needs to be pure black and white. Colours can not be present, nor gradients of grey.

There is a maximum black coverage limit of approximately 30%. Any more than this will warp and weaken the business card.

Maximum Card Size

Your cards can be any shape, up to a maximum size of 90x50mm, or 85x55mm, or 95x45mm.
